Dr. Robert Redfield is an American virologist best known for his work on HIV/AIDS and his tenure as the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) from 2018 to 2021. Dr. Redfield obtained his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his residency training in internal medicine at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
